These are devices that dry the plastic raw material by heating it. For drying the plastic raw material which is less sensitive to moisture, it is sufficient to expose the outer surface of plastic raw materials to heat for a certain period of time. As per the designs of these types of dryers, this hot air directed to the lower part of the silo rises, first passing through the raw material in the lower part of the silo and then through the raw materials in the upper part of the silo, and is then discharged outside. Thus, the raw material in the upper part of the silo, which has just been placed into the silo, is also subjected to preheating.
