Technical Specifications of UCHIDA 1100 Model Sheet Collator:

* Collating machine is tower type.

* Max paper size is 325 x 469 mm.

* Min. paper size is 95 x 148 mm

* There are 10 paper loading pockets in each tower. A second tower can be added if desired.

* Paper loading pockets work with a rubber wheel system.

* Collating machine speedmax. 3,600 collations / hour.

*Working paper weight range is between 40 – 240 gsm.

*Paper loading capacity of pockets is 28mm.(350 sheets)

*Double paper or paper missing errors are signaled to the operator with audible and visual warnings by sensors, and the machine stops.

*Any paper feeding problems in any pocket are indicated by audible and visual warnings.

*Folding, stitching, and trimming units can be added to the machine as required.

*All functions of the machine are controlled by a microprocessor.

*Both sides of the machine can be used for output. While stitched and folded sets come out from one side, collated sets separated by zig-zag collator can be stacked from the other side.

*Using the insert program, it is possible to feed covers after a certain collation from the top and bottom pockets.

*Station pockets can be pulled out of the collating machine and reattached. This facilitates mechanical adjustments for the operator.

*When fewer than 5 collation pockets are in use, the pockets are connected so that while collating is done with one half of the machine, standby loading is done to the other half, and when the paper runs out in the 1st section, the 2nd section is automatically activated, and collation continues without interruption.

*Collation can be done in straight or criss-cross modes. When the collation bin is full, the machine stops by issuing a warning signal.

*There is a 3-step mechanical pressure adjustment in each pocket according to paper thickness. Additionally, there are 4-step adjustments for cover feeding in the 1st and 10th pockets. This enables feeding of thicker papers.

*The sensitivity of the double paper sensor can be adjusted in 9 levels according to paper thickness.

*By switching to alternate mode with a single button selection, when paper runs out in a station, automatic transition to the adjacent station either above or below is made, enabling continuous collation process.
