Atılım Makina Colophony Resin Production Facility
COLOPHONY RESIN is used in the production of many industrial products such as paints and inks, primarily in the pharmaceutical sector.
There are many other areas of use for colophony resin.
Melting Kettle:
It is the kettle where raw resin is melted. It is accepted that 2 meltings can be done in 8 hours and that 80% of the kettle’s volume can be utilized.
Measurements that form the basis for calculating the kettle volume are determined and recorded.
b) Refined Tank:
It is accepted that 1 charge is made in 8 hours and that 80% of its volume can be utilized.
Measurements that form the basis for calculating the tank volume are determined and recorded. In facilities where neither a melting kettle nor a refined tank is available, it is accepted that 1 charge is made in 12 hours in the existing kettle or tank.
c) Distiller:
It is accepted that 4 charges are made in 8 hours and that 80% of its volume can be utilized.
Measurements that form the basis for calculating its volume are determined and recorded.
In continuous facilities, hourly capacity is determined by chronometry.
d) Steam Boiler:
In steam boiler calculations, it is considered that 1 kg of raw resin requires 1 kg of steam at 10-12 kg/cm pressure to be converted into finished colophony, and the adequacy of the boiler is verified.
The smallest annual production among these treatment boilers is accepted as the capacity of the facility.
The capacity of the facility is specified separately for raw resin, refined resin (colophony), and turpentine.
NOTE: In calculations, the density of raw resin will be accepted as (D= 1).
Raw and Auxiliary Materials:
Raw material: Natural raw resin.
Auxiliary material:
a) Refining clay : 1% of natural raw resin.
b) Oxalic acid : 1% of natural raw resin.
c) Salt : 0.5% of natural raw resin.
The capacity of the facility is specified separately for raw resin, refined resin (colophony), and turpentine.
We, as ATILIM MAKINA, are constructing turnkey colophony resin facilities.
