Mixers, also known as agitators, ensure the uniform mixing of fluids. They are used in wastewater treatment plants to prevent solid materials from settling at the bottom of the pool or to direct the flow. They are positioned in BIO-P (anaerobic) pools and aeration tanks.
Mixers according to their speeds?
– Directly coupled high-speed mixers
– Medium-speed mixers with a single-stage gearbox
– Low-speed mixers with a double-stage gearbox
Operating principle: In chemical wastewater treatment plants, mixers are used in fast and slow mixing processes to ensure the complete mixing of chemical substances and wastewater.
While mixers are manufactured according to the width and length of the pool, they can also be produced at desired or calculated speeds based on the project. The determining factor for the speed is the motor + reducer pair.
Since mixing systems are in contact with water, they are manufactured from SS.304 Stainless Steel and its derivatives to resist rust and corrosion.
