Ibertest Trackbox Conventional Railway Infrastructure Fatigue Vibration Testing Device
Trackbox is a structural support system for testing the complete sleeper section, with different layers forming the filling for the sleeper on ballast or the sleeper components on a concrete slab at full scale.
This system allows simulating the performance of the track against the forces experienced during operation.
The purpose of this bench is to simulate the real fatigue conditions to which the railway infrastructure is subjected in an accelerated manner (at a 1:1 scale), for example, to simulate 20 years of track usage within a few weeks. The system has the capability to simulate different component sections and different usages:
-Conventional
-High-speed lines
-Metro
-Freight
-Mixed use
Trackbox
A structural support system for testing the full rail cross-section (rail + sleeper + fastening elements + ballast) at real scale. This system allows simulating the performance of the track against the vertical and lateral forces experienced during operation.
Load capacity: 6x300kN/6 × 20 kN
Test area: 12×4 m
The purpose of this bench is to simulate the real fatigue conditions to which the railway infrastructure is subjected (at a scale of 1:1). Therefore, the bench is sized to accommodate different component sections:
-Traditional
-High-speed lines
-Freight
-Mixed use
