Atılım Makina Thin Film Evaporator Plants
Thin-film evaporation, or heat-sensitive liquid with high viscosity of solutions of the solvent, creates a thin liquid film by mechanical means, based on the principle of heat transfer for removal.
Thin Film Evaporators successfully perform evaporation of substances that are difficult to separate. Simply put, without direct contact with the product, a heat transfer volatile component of the product is quickly separated from the less volatile compound by mechanical mixing.
Heating the contact surface and the short duration of high-velocity fluid motion allow the heat-sensitive thin film evaporator to successfully evaporate very viscous materials.
Thin Film Evaporator consists of two main parts: a housing including a heating jacket and a rotor. Film Evaporators are most widely used today in a vertical design.
The vertically designed thin film evaporator feed liquor enters the evaporator body tangentially from the top through the heated surface and spreads towards the inner wall. The rotor blade movements cause waves of high turbulent flow and optimum heat flux while inducing the thin liquid film to spiral downwards from the inner wall.
