Description

0.5 m3/h – 1000 m3/h DAF Industrial Wastewater Treatment System

What DAF does: DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) is a wastewater treatment process used to remove suspended solids and oils from water. In this process, suspended solids rise to the surface thanks to the air bubbles created. The DAF unit introduces air bubbles into the wastewater using a pressurized vessel or diffuser. Operating principle: The separation of pollutants present in the wastewater, primarily oil, by floating them with microbubbles. Microbubbles are created by taking a certain portion of the treated water and dissolving air in the water under pressure. The dissolved air is circulated back into the DAF system, resulting in the accumulation of flocs on the surface due to contact with floc particles. Heavier particles settle to the bottom. The foam that accumulates on the surface and the sludge at the bottom are taken to sludge dewatering units. The treated waters are discharged from the outlet channel by gravity.
