ErichHahn HPS-120  High Viscosity Fluid Pumping Station

The pumping station is designed for pumping heavy oils with a density not exceeding 1300 kg/m3 and a temperature not exceeding 200ºC. The viscosity range of the pumped product is between 20 and 1000 cSt.

ErichHahn HPS Advantages

Intended Use

The pumping station is designed for pumping heavy oils with a density not exceeding 1300 kg/m3 and a temperature not exceeding 200ºC. The viscosity range of the pumped product is between 20 and 1000 cSt.

Gear Pump

Internal gear rotary pump is designed for pumping heavy oils. The pump ensures a smooth pulsation-free flow of the pumped product to reduce the vibration level of the pumping station and product foaming. The pump has an integrated safety valve for overpressure protection.

Control Panel
The control panel’s operation panel contains the unit’s status indicators and controls. The control board is connected to the central control board to communicate with the frequency converter. The control panel is an integral part of the heavy oil pumping station. The controls on the operation panel are used to start the pump and adjust its performance. The panel displays basic pump process parameters, power supply availability, and standby status of the pumping station.

Automation
Motor control is done by the frequency converter. The central control cabinet includes a frequency converter (an integral part of the plant, although outside the scope of supply). The control panel is connected with the central panel using multiple cables.
 

Control Board Modes:
 

  • Local Mode The pump is operated directly from the control panel (controls located on the panel door).
  • Remote Control Mode The user can operate the pumping station remotely using equipment connected to the enterprise’s central automation system.

  • Control Off Mode All control commands are ignored.

  • Each control panel has on-site power shutoff switches to turn off the pump drive power supply and ensure safe maintenance.

Loading System
The loading system enables the loading of oil products from storage tanks onto trucks. The system is equipped with a loading arm, pipelines, shut-off valves and instruments.

Heating and Insulation

The pump and filter are heated by a thermal oil heating system. All units are lined with high-density thermal wool insulation and removable protective coverings.

HPS Gear Motor

The gear motor transmits and converts the rotary motion to the gear pump through a flexible coupling. The frequency converter in the power equipment switchboard is designed for starting the pumping unit and changing its performance.
