200 Kg/Hour Barrel Heating System
Barrel melting systems are designed to heat bitumen delivered in barrels and transfer it into the system. These systems ensure efficient and safe processing of bitumen.
Heating Process
Barrel melting systems use heat supplied from a hot oil boiler to melt the bitumen inside the barrels. This makes the bitumen suitable for processing and allows it to be transferred into the system.
Barrel Transport and Transfer
Barrels are loaded into heating chambers using a dual hydraulic system. The inverted barrels progress through the chamber, and the bitumen inside is emptied into the transfer reservoir. From there, the bitumen is transferred to storage tanks using a bitumen pump.
Energy Conservation and Corrosion Protection
The outer surfaces are fully insulated with rock wool to ensure energy conservation and covered with aluminum sheets to provide protection against corrosion.
