ErichHahn HPS-200 High Viscosity Fluid Pumping Station

The pumping station is designed for pumping heavy oils with a density of up to 1300 kg/m3 and temperature not exceeding 200°C. The viscosity range of the pumped product is between 20 and 1000 cSt.

ErichHahn HPS Advantages

ErichHahn HPS pumping station models are available. These models are similar in design and composition, but differ in their capacities, overall sizes, and components.

Intended Use

The pumping station is designed for pumping heavy oils with a density of up to 1300 kg/m3 and temperature not exceeding 200°C. The viscosity range of the pumped product is between 20 and 1000 cSt.

Gear Pump

The internal gear rotary pump is designed for pumping heavy oils. The pump ensures smooth pulsation-free flow of the pumped product to reduce the vibration level and product foaming of the pumping station. The pump has an integrated safety valve for overpressure protection.

Control Panel
The control panel’s operation panel includes the unit’s status indicators and controls. The control panel is connected to the central control panel to communicate with the frequency converter. The control panel is an integral part of the heavy oil pumping station. The controls on the operation panel are used to start the pump and adjust its performance. The panel displays basic pump process parameters, power supply availability, and the standby status of the pumping station.

Automation
Motor control is performed by the frequency converter. The central control panel includes a frequency converter (although it is not within the scope of supply, it is an integral part of the facility). The control panel is connected to the central panel using multiple cables.
 

Control Panel Modes:
 

  • Local Mode The pump is operated directly from the control panel (controls are located on the panel door).
  • Remote Control Mode The user can operate the pumping station remotely using equipment connected to the central automation system of the plant.

  • Closed Control Mode All control commands are ignored.

  • Each control panel has on-site power cutoff switches to shut down the pump drive power and provide safe maintenance.

Loading System
The loading system enables the loading of oil products from storage tanks to trucks. The system is equipped with loading arms, pipelines, closing valves, and instruments.

Heating and Insulation

The pump and filter are heated with a thermal oil heating system. All units are covered with high-density thermal wool insulation and removable protective coatings.

HPS Gear Motor

The gear motor transmits and converts the rotary motion to the gear pump through a flexible coupling. The frequency converter in the power equipment panel is designed to start the pumping unit and adjust its performance.
