Technical Specifications of Tipper with Sheet Metal Body

Tipper Dimensions and Capacity

The tipper will have a minimum length of 3600 mm, minimum width of 1900 mm, minimum cover heights of 600 mm, and a body volume of at least 4 m3. At least 20 cm detachable additions will be available on the side covers of the tipper.

Materials and Thicknesses

Tipper Subframe: The subframe will be made of at least 5 mm thick St 52 sheet metal and will be connected to the vehicle chassis with a sufficient number of attachment ears welded to the subframe and safety nut-bolt connections in accordance with the technique. Front crossmembers and profiles will be welded to ensure strength in the anticipated locations on the tipper subframe. The rear pivot point will be designed with sufficient width to allow lubrication and will be manufactured to ensure strength during lifting. Base Crossmembers: It will be made of at least 3 mm thick St 52 sheet U-bend material. Tipper Upper Frame: Made of St 52 sheet metal, with appropriate thickness ears and a steel pin of suitable diameter, will be articulated to the tipper subframe. Ear pieces made of sheet metal material of suitable dimensions will be made to align the tipper to the subframe. Base Sheet: Made of at least 4 mm thick St 52 sheet metal material and will be welded to the base frame with welding. Side Covers: Made of at least 3 mm thick ST 52 quality sheet metal, shaped in presses as an openable type, hinged from the bottom. Rear Cover: Made of at least 3 mm thick St 52 quality sheet metal, hinged from the bottom and right side, with a bottom automatic locking mechanism. Front Cover: It will be fixed, made of at least 3 mm thick St 52 quality sheet metal, shaped with a suitable number and size of U-bend vertical reinforcements. Fenders: Made of at least 3 mm thick St 52 sheet metal, shaped in presses. Mudguard Sheet with reinforcement with U-bend supports will be appropriate.

Tipper Lifting System:

The tipper will be lifted telescopically from the front by at least 350, and there will be a safety system to prevent the maximum lifting limit from being exceeded. When the body is raised, it will not fall due to its weight. The body can be stopped and held at any angle during tipping and lowering operations. Lubrication will be done from the existing grease nipples on the telescopic cylinder. Hydraulic power will be supplied by a gear type hydraulic pump coupled with the PTO. The PTO and hydraulic pump will be suitable for the tipper capacity and vehicle transmission. There will be a ‘safety lock device’ that locks the tipper to the vehicle chassis in the tipper system. Opening the safety lock device will be subject to the condition that the PTO is turned on, and closing it will be subject to the condition that the tipper is closed. The hydraulic system will have a minimum 40-liter capacity oil tank. The oil tank will be equipped with filling and ventilation caps, a thermometer, a level indicator, a cleanable filtered suction and return line, and a drain valve at the bottom with a capped end. All hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (telescopic cylinder, hydraulic pump, control valves, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic oil, and connection elements) will be of suitable quality for the tipper capacity and operating conditions, meeting the standards.

Safety

In vehicles, there will be a system that restricts the vehicle’s driving speed to not exceed 10 km/h when the tipper is not fully lowered, and a system that prevents the tipper from opening when the vehicle is traveling above 10 km/h. When the PTO is engaged, there will be an audible and visual warning system in vehicles. The audible warning will continue from when the body starts to rise until it is lowered. There will be two safety outriggers between the lower and upper chassis arms of the tipper, and two safety support arms for the tipper and chassis maintenance to be done easily and safely with the tipper in the air. The safety support arms will remain fixed when opened. Warning labels, reflectors, etc. will be located on the side and rear of the tipper in accordance with the relevant regulations.

Accessories

There will be an integrated toolbox on a convenient and easily accessible location on the subframe and sheet mudguards and fenders for the rear wheels. A sufficient number of tarpaulin hooks will be available on the rear and side covers, and a fixed ladder will be made on the front right side of the body.
