Vertical Steel Structure
The steel structure consists of a wall, roof, and base. The production and assembly of the tanks are carried out using both rolled and sheet methods.
Insulation
A heat insulation layer covered with a protective casing made of galvanized steel has been provided to reduce heat loss and maintain the temperature regime.
Loading System
It allows for the top filling of the oil product. The inlet is placed above the maximum level. The entire system is mounted inside the tank. The channel prevents oil splashing during loading.
The electrically actuated gate valve is remotely controlled by a signal from the control panel.
Discharge Device
The discharge device is designed for emptying the tanks and releasing the product remaining at the bottom. It consists of a pipeline and shut-off valves.
The emptying of the tanks is carried out by an electrically actuated gate controlled remotely by a signal from the control panel. A shut-off valve is provided for manual control.
Side Mixer
The side mixer is designed to homogenize the heavy oil stored in the tanks. The device consists of a three-bladed mixing shaft driven by a gear motor.
The mixer is mounted at a 90° angle to the tank. The sealing of the shaft outlet is ensured by a mechanical seal.
Heating System
The product is heated to the required temperature by the oil heating sections located at the bottom of the tank. Each heating section consists of a support frame and a tubular structure. The number of sections depends on the diameter of the tank.
Oil Distributor
The oil distributor is designed to evenly distribute the heat transfer fluid to the tank heaters. It consists of a two-pipe distributor (for supply and return), brackets for tank connection, shut-off valves, and temperature and pressure sensors.
The operation of individual heating sections can be stopped manually or automatically. In automatic mode, tank heating can be remotely stopped using an electrically operated adjustable gate mounted at the outlet of the return manifold.
Steam Discharge Device
The steam discharge device consists of a ventilation pipe and a steam trap.
Emergency Overflow Protection
In the event of an automation failure, when the maximum emergency level of the tank is exceeded, the product is discharged into an emergency tank through a special pipe.
Control Cabin
The tank comes with a local control panel. The panel allows monitoring and controlling instruments in the field or remotely and can be integrated into the APCS.
