The “Mobile Steel – Concrete Platform Weighbridge” is preferred due to its robust structure and resistance to sulfate, corrosion, and chemical acids. The steel frames are realized by tensioning (pre-stressed) steel cables and pouring concrete. The concrete is class C50, with raw glass fiber additives, steam-dried, and impermeable to sulfate and chemical acid effects. The system is also made durable for many years with surface hardeners. Thus, costs for regular maintenance and painting that need to be done on the scale are avoided.
