Description

ErichHahn HT-700 Industrial Heating Tank

HT active heating tanks are aboveground vertical cylindrical steel tanks with capacities ranging from 700 to 950 m3, in different heights and diameters. The tanks are equipped with all the required process piping. The product range includes HT-400, HT-700, HT-950

ErichHahn HT Advantages

Vertical Steel Structure

The steel structure consists of a wall, a roof, and a bottom. The tanks are manufactured and assembled using both roll-up and layer-by-layer assembly methods.

Insulation

An insulation layer made of galvanized steel is provided to reduce heat loss and maintain the temperature regime.

Loading System

Enables top loading of the oil product. The inlet is placed above the maximum level. The entire system is mounted inside the tank. The chute prevents splashing of the oil product during loading.

An electric actuated gate valve regulates the feed; it can be remotely controlled with a signal from the control cabin.

Drainage System

The drainage system is designed to drain the tanks and discharge the remaining product at the bottom. It consists of a pipeline and closing valves.

The tanks are emptied through an electric actuated gate valve controlled remotely with a signal from the control cabin. A closing valve is provided for manual control.

Side Mixer

The side mixer is designed to homogenize the heavy oil stored in the tanks. The device consists of a three-blade mixer shaft operated by a gear motor.

The mixer is mounted vertically on the tank at a 90° angle.

The shaft outlet seal is provided by a mechanical seal.

Heating System

The product is heated to the required temperature through oil heating sections at the bottom of the tank. Each heating section consists of a support frame and a pipe structure. The number of sections depends on the tank diameter.

Oil Dispenser

The oil dispenser is designed to evenly distribute the heat transfer fluid to the tank heaters. The following components are included:

  • Heat transfer fluid supply and return pipes
  • Brackets for tank assembly
  • Closing valves
  • Temperature and pressure sensors
  • Operation of each heating section can be manually or automatically stopped. In automatic mode, tank heating can be remotely stopped using an electrically operated adjustment valve mounted at the output of the return manifold.

Steam Vent Device

The steam vent device consists of a ventilation pipe and a steam trap.

Emergency Overflow Protection

In case of automation failure, when the maximum emergency level in the tank is exceeded, the product is emptied to an emergency tank through a special pipe.

Control Cabin

The tank is equipped with a local control cabin. The cabin, integrated into the control system on-site or remotely, allows monitoring and control of the instrumentation.
