It is generally impossible to obtain the desired product size with a single crusher. General Machinery’s Jaw Crushers can be used as a primary crusher that breaks the material coarsely, as well as a secondary crusher to refine the material. The feed opening of secondary jaw crushers is narrower than that of primary crushers. The material to be fed and the desired product sizes, along with the hourly production capacity, are determining factors in crusher selection. The feed opening between the jaws should be selected larger than the maximum size of the material to be fed. This will prevent large stones from causing blockages at the mouth, and capacity will increase with continuous feeding.
