ErichHahn HT active heating tanks are above-ground vertical cylindrical steel tanks with a capacity of 700 to 950 m3, available in different heights and diameters. The tanks are equipped with all necessary process piping. The product range includes HT-400, HT-700, HT-950

Vertical Steel Structure
The steel structure consists of a wall, a roof, and a base. The production and assembly of the tanks are carried out using both rolled and sheet assembly methods.
Insulation
A heat insulation layer covered with a protective casing made of galvanized steel is provided to reduce heat loss and maintain the temperature regime.
Loading System
Allows for top filling of the oil product. The inlet is placed above the maximum level. The entire system is mounted inside the tank. The chute prevents splashing of the oil product during loading.
The electric actuator gate valve regulates the feed; it is remotely controlled by a signal from the control cabin.
Discharge Device
The discharge device is designed to empty the tanks and discharge the product remaining at the bottom. It consists of a pipeline and shut-off valves.
The tanks are emptied through a gate controlled remotely by a signal from the control cabin, which is equipped with a manual shut-off valve for manual control.
Side Mixer
The side mixer is designed to homogenize the heavy oil stored in the tanks. The device consists of a three-blade mixing shaft driven by a gear motor.
The mixer is mounted vertically at a 90° angle to the tank.
The sealing of the shaft outlet is ensured by a mechanical seal.
Heating System
The product is heated to the required temperature by the oil heating sections located at the bottom of the tank. Each heating section consists of a support frame and a pipe structure. The number of sections depends on the tank diameter.
Oil Distributor
The oil distributor is designed to evenly distribute the heat transfer fluid to the tank heaters. It consists of the following components:
- Heat transfer fluid supply and return pipes
- Brackets for tank mounting
- Shut-off valves
- Temperature and pressure sensors
- Each heating section can be manually or automatically stopped. In automatic mode, the tank heating can be remotely stopped using an electrically operated control gate mounted on the return manifold outlet.
Steam Discharge Device
The steam discharge device consists of a ventilation pipe and a steam valve.
Emergency Overflow Protection
In the event of an automation failure, when the maximum emergency level in the tank is exceeded, the product is discharged to an emergency tank through a special pipe.
Control Cabin
The tank is equipped with a local control cabin. The cabin provides the ability to monitor and control instrumentation by integrating with the control system on-site or remotely.
