Description
• Capacitive sensor measures the level of objects between the ground with its probe. Objects entering between the two plates change the capacity, and the level of the object is determined by this change. The level of the object is measured as a percentage by calibrating the calibration in the lowest and highest states of the object (substance). For this, the measured capacity must be within the measurement limits.
• For linearity, the increase in volume between the two plates also needs to be linear.
• For accurate measurement, the grounding of the second plate formed by the housing (silo, box, etc.) and also connecting the sensor to the ground are necessary. This ensures that the location of the second plate, which is normally not precisely located, remains as stable and steady as possible.
