DM Dynamic Corn Cob Peeling Machine
HUSKER
It is used to peel the husks and silks of corn cobs without damaging the corn kernels.
All sheet metal parts and chassis are made of iron material.
Shafts Through Which Rollers Pass:
-
Diameter: 4.5 cm
-
In the main cob peeling section, there are rubber rollers with special helical gear profiles mounted on the shafts.
-
Roller dimensions:
-
Hole diameter: 4.5 cm
-
Outer diameter: ~7 cm
-
Length: 29.5 cm
-
Rollers:
-
The number of teeth on standard profile rollers is 11.
-
The rubber hardness is approximately 75-80 SHa.
-
The length of each roller line is approximately 147.5 cm.
Drive Mechanism:
-
In the main cob peeling section, the shafts with rubber rollers are driven by a motor, belt-pulley mechanism, and direction-changing transmissions.
-
The rubber roller shafts are supported at both ends with high-quality special bearing bronze bushings (the feeding side has a bronze body and the output side has an aluminum body).
-
The connection points of these bearing housings to the main machine body are supported to accommodate the flexing and tensioning of shafts that may occur on each axis. Additionally, there is a mechanism to bring the two shafts closer together to accommodate wear that may occur over time in the gear profiles of the rubber rollers.
Oscillator Mechanism:
-
In the main cob peeling section, there is a single-point motor, reducer, and crank arm-driven oscillator mechanism that extends across the length and continuously directs the cobs into the peeling lanes.
-
The shafts of the oscillator mechanism are supported at both ends with aluminum bodies and special plastic bushings.
-
The connection points of these bearing housings to the main machine body are supported to accommodate the flexing and tensioning of shafts that may occur on two axes.
Lubrication System:
-
In the main cob peeling section, there are central manual greasing points for the bush bearings at the output and input sections at two separate points in the front and back.
-
This way, grease can be delivered to all husker roller shaft bearings through special fitting-connected hydraulic hoses from points that the operator can safely and easily reach even during the machine’s operation.
