Description

Circular Root Opening and Beveling Machine

Preparing the welding seam properly means ensuring the welding is done with high quality. That is why Graebener® developed the circular root opening and beveling machine. Drawing on our experience as a global market leader, you can prepare the welding seam at milling depths of up to 120 mm in a more profitable, faster, and healthier way than ever before.

Overview

Up until the 1990s, we operated our own Graebener® pipe plant where we prepared our pipe welding seams through laborious and manual processes. We then developed the Graebener® circular root opening and beveling machine, which is now used by more than 100 customers across four continents who benefit from our leading machine technology in the market.

The Graebener® circular root opening and beveling machine allows for the cost-effective, reliable, and safe preparation of circular seams in pipes, ships, and devices. As a result, our root opening and beveling machines have been among the most popular machines for milling incredibly tight welding seams for years. According to conducted usability studies, our machines provide more than a 50% cost advantage.

Your Graebener® machine will save you time and money as the circular root opening and beveling machine is also highly suitable for fast and reliable operation. Benefit from our individual concepts and the numerous advantages we offer compared to traditional gouging or grinding methods.

Machine Concepts

Graebener® circular root opening and beveling machines are available in two different designs tailored to your needs: a portable system easily transported to the job site by crane or forklift or a rail system. We offer the most cost-effective solution for root opening operations according to different capacity classes. As a specialized machine manufacturer, we also develop customized machine designs on demand.
