Industrial Wastewater Oil Skimming, Retention and Separation System

Oil separators are separating systems that retain oils in wastewater, preventing these oils from reaching the sewage network and causing environmental problems.

These equipments, also known as oil retainers, oil separators, or oil extractors, can be produced from CTP (composite) material, stainless steel, or ST 37 carbon steel depending on their areas of use.

Working principle: Oil separators generally consist of three sections. The first section contains a cage filter and sedimentation section where solid particles with specific gravities greater than water settle and accumulate at the bottom. In the second section, oils that are lighter than water accumulate at the top of the water, separating and collecting in a separate chamber. The last section is where the cleaned wastewater, separated from unwanted elements, is discharged into the sewage system.
