Manual Filter Press

Filter presses consist of two fixed heads and a floating head that compresses the plates. One of the fixed heads is the hydraulic group that compresses the plates,
The other one has the mud inlet structure on it. The plates are carried between two fixed heads with the help of side arms or upper beams. Each filtration plate is covered with filter cloth covering both sides. When the plates come side by side by working with the press, filtration cells with different plate numbers are created. The most common plate usage is the center-fed type. This feeding continues throughout the plates and ensures homogeneous filling of all cells. Discharge taps located at the bottom of the plates are one of the most common “Open Discharge” applications that allow the filtrate to be discharged to the desired location. In addition, the closed discharge system is widely used for toxic, flammable and volatile filtrates.
