Mud Dewatering Waste Water Screw Press
The Multi-disc Screw Press (MDS) is a new solid-liquid separation equipment used for sludge thickening and dewatering effect. The sludge is gradually thickened and dewatered with the movement of the screw shaft, and the dewatering is completed by the adjusting plate of the outlet. The solid content of the dewatered sludge reaches 15% to 20%.
Operating principle: The screw press for water absorption is designed according to the superposition compression principle, mainly providing solid-liquid separation by applying pressure to the material with the cooperation of the feed box, spiral, screen plate, and tail cone.
The material to be processed is smoothly conveyed to the inlet of the screw press equipment for water absorption via a pump or spiral conveyor, filtered with spiral blade and screen, and then the liquid portion is collected into a liquid tray under the machine by passing through the screen.
The pressed solid substances are then pushed by the screw to the storage place.
