Mud Dewatering Wastewater Screw Press

The Multi Disc Screw Press (MDS) is a new solid-liquid separation equipment used for sludge thickening and dewatering effect. The sludge is gradually thickened and dewatered with the movement of the screw shaft, and the dewatering process is completed with the adjustment plate at the outlet. The solid content of the dewatered sludge reaches 15% to 20%.

Working principle: The screw press for water removal is designed based on the principle of superimposed compression, mainly providing solid-liquid separation by applying pressure to the material through the cooperation of the feed box, spiral, screen plate, and tail cone.

The material to be processed is evenly conveyed to the inlet of the screw press equipment for water removal through a pump or spiral conveyor, filtered by the spiral blades and screen, and then the liquid portion passes through the screen to be collected in a liquid tray under the machine.

The pressed solid materials are pushed by the screw to be transported to the storage location.
