Poly Methyl Methacrylate (Pmma) Production Facility

PMMA(POLY METHYL METHACRYLATE) is a polymer obtained by the polymerization of methyl methacrylate.

The optical properties of the polymer are very good, close to glass transparency, and it transmits 92% of light. At the same time, its other properties include being hard, resistant to atmospheric conditions, low water absorption, good dimensional stability, and strong mechanical strength.

Due to these properties, it is used as a substitute for glass. It ensures that much more transparent and shiny products are obtained compared to other standard acrylics.

The PMMA obtained as a result of the polymerization of methyl methacrylate is also used as a resin in quartz and Corian marble powders for synthetic marble production.
