HODBEHOD Rust Converter is a high-performance coating that works effectively on rusty steel surfaces, penetrating the surface, stabilizing iron oxides, and forming a non-soluble metal-organic layer.

• Deeply penetrates rusty steel surfaces.
• Neutralizes iron oxides and transforms them into a protective layer.
• Balances and delays flash rusting.
• Provides an ideal surface for metal paint, primer, or filler materials.
• The surface turns blue-black after application, indicating the completion of the chemical reaction.
• Contains no VOC, environmentally friendly.

• Surfaces should be free from dust, oil, dirt, paint, and wax residues.
• Heavy rust should be cleaned with a wire brush, grinding, or sanding (ISO 8501-1:1988 – CSt2/DSt2 standard).
• The product can be applied with a stiff brush, roller, or spray with nozzles of 1.3-1.5 mm in diameter and 3-4 bar pressure.
• Application temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C.
• Apply in a thin layer, avoid excessive use of the product.
• Drying time is approximately 3 hours. Painting or filling can be done afterwards.

• Should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight in its original plastic packaging.
• Store between +5 °C and +35 °C, protect from freezing.
• Shelf life under appropriate conditions is 3 years.
