In industrial facilities, wastewater generated from the processing of raw materials and the production of products is referred to as "industrial wastewater." Industrial wastewaters can be treated using physical, chemical, and biological methods depending on the pollutant fractions and concentrations they contain.
Among the methods applied are chemical coagulation-flocculation, chemical precipitation, chemical oxidation, neutralization, flotation, oil separation unit, activated sludge, activated carbon adsorption, chemical sludge conditioning, and filter press.
