Mud Dewatering Waste Water Screw Press

Multi-Disk Screw Press (MDS) is a new solid-liquid separation equipment used for sludge thickening and dewatering effect. The sludge is gradually thickened and dewatered with the movement of the screw shaft, and the dewatering process is completed with the adjustable plate at the outlet. The solid content of dewatered sludge reaches 15% to 20%.

Working principle: The screw press operates on the principle of superposition compression, mainly by applying pressure to the material through the cooperation of the feed box, spiral, screen plate, and tail cone for solid-liquid separation.

The material to be processed is smoothly conveyed to the inlet of the screw press equipment through a pump or spiral conveyor, filtered by the spiral blades and screen, then the liquid part passes through the screen and is collected in a liquid tray under the machine.

The pressed solid materials are then moved to the storage location by the screw.
