Spray Metal Box Type Powder Coating Oven

Product Description

Box Type Ovens operate on the principle of loading the part into the Oven with a suspension or carrier cart group to perform the drying and baking process, being highly efficient, space-saving, and manufactured in different systems according to the flow of the production process.

Box Type Ovens are generally preferred in low-capacity productions due to their low initial investment cost.

They provide advantages to users due to occupying less space compared to Continuous Ovens and having “low fuel cost.”

Box Type Powder Coating Oven Heating Unit

The Heating Unit (Thermoblock) is designed based on maximum efficiency and minimum fuel consumption.

The Heating Unit (Thermoblock) mounted at the back of the oven can raise the oven temperature from ambient temperature to +250 °C.

The Heating Unit is made of 310 quality stainless steel material and is resistant up to 1450 °C.

The Heating Unit (Thermoblock) is placed inside the combustion chamber and is insulated with 150mm rock wool and Glass Wool.

There is an intervention cover against failures of the Heating Unit (Thermoblock) in the combustion chamber.

The heat distribution inside the oven is provided by Circulation Fans.

Technical Specifications

  • The Box Type Oven is manufactured in a disassembled form by being mounted on a chassis in sandwich panel form.

  • The inner section of the baking oven is made of 1.2mm Galvanized steel, and the outer section is made of 1.2mm ST 37 Painted Sheet. The outer sheet of the oven is coated with electrostatic powder paint to increase corrosion resistance.

  • The baking oven panels are insulated with 150mm insulation material as standard.

  • The inner section of the oven panels is insulated with 50mm Rock Wool, and the outer section is insulated with compressed 200mm glass wool.

  • Due to this insulation feature in the baking oven, heat losses do not exceed the ambient temperature (+ – 10) degrees.

  • Thus, our baking ovens consume less fuel and do not excessively heat the working environment.

  • The baking oven has a radiant type Fan that provides air circulation, and a homogeneous heat distribution is achieved inside the oven through air channels extending along the oven and vents placed over the channels.

  • Heat control is done via a thermocouple placed inside the oven.

  • Box Type Ovens automatically signal when they reach the desired temperature, and the baking oven can be adjusted from 0 – 230 °C via the digital clock on the heat control panel.
