Description

Anodizing, is an electrochemical coating process that is generally applied to protect and improve the aesthetic appearance of aluminum surfaces. In this process, the aluminum part is used as an anode in an electrolyte solution, and an oxide layer is formed on its surface.

The role of the rectifier is to provide direct current (DC) power used in the anodizing process. Because direct current is required for the anodizing process, alternating current (AC) electricity is converted to direct current through the rectifier. To ensure the formation of an oxide layer of the correct thickness on the aluminum surface, this direct current must be maintained at a certain flow rate and voltage in the electrolyte solution.
Excess voltage rectifiers are manufactured automatically at desired voltage and current values within REDARTI Electric Devices. According to the working environment
demanded cooling types can be produced as air, oil or water cooled anodizing rectifiers, provide full compatibility with working processes through the automatic micron control unit, provide convenience in processing with rectifier control, amp counter, bath temperature control and automatic dosing features. The necessary working program for aluminum parts with different features is saved into the micron control unit system memory as a program recipe. By loading that recipe, the process can be started quickly for the part to be coated. This way, there is no confusion about which voltage values to use for which part. Consistent production is always ensured. The operator panel developed for anodizing rectifiers is touchscreen, with a 10-inch screen. All program features of the device can be defined from this screen.
