Sharpening the Blade: To sharpen the blade, first place the machine in an empty area away from the working area and lower the fabric presser foot to the lowest level. Then press the automatic sharpening arm. The automatic sharpening mechanism in the machine will sharpen the blade downwards. It will then automatically rise and sit in place. Depending on the fabric type you are cutting, you can repeat this process a few times to sharpen the blade.

Maintenance of the Machine: Clean the machine twice a week with compressed air. Remove the covers and clean the fabric residues between all the threaded parts around the sharpening mechanism. Also, remove the blade and clean the blade channel every day. The blade channel may fill with fabric residues cut by the blade, which may prevent the blade from sitting properly and making a clean cut.
