MCY Wastewater Polyacrylate Preparation Tank
The preparation of polyacrylate to be dosed into the flocculation (Slow Mixer) units of water treatment plants, the preparation of polymers to be dosed before the dewatering process of the sludge formed in water and wastewater treatment plants, and the preparation of polymers to be used in many industrial processes are carried out with Automatic Poly Preparation Units.
Automatic Poly Preparation Units consist of a dry poly feeding hopper and feeder, a poly preparation chamber and a high-speed mixer, a maturation section and a slow mixer, a storage section, inlet water line instruments, and a control panel, all made of AISI 304 OR AISI 316 Stainless material.
Operating principle: The powder poly placed in the dry poly feeding hopper is conveyed to the poly preparation section with the help of a screw, ensuring contact with water. Homogeneity is achieved with the high-speed mixer in this chamber, and thus the dissolution process is completed. The pressure and flow of the incoming water are monitored and controlled with instruments on the service water line, and any impurities are filtered out. The homogeneous solution in the preparation unit is transferred to the maturation section with the help of a weir. The mixer in this section operates at a lower speed. The polymer solution that is ready to be supplied to the system is discharged into the storage chamber via the weir. The dosing pumps draw from this chamber to perform the dosing operation. The continuation or cessation of the solution preparation process is controlled via the level rods in the storage chamber.
